Lavangaha is the Sanskrit name for what we know as cloves.
Clove in ayurveda is not only used in toothache and inflammations of the mouth and throat, but also to promote the blood circulation and as wormdodend means.
Lavanga is analgesic (pain-relieving) at tooth and toothache and other nerve pains. The dried flower buds of the clove tree stimulate the circulation and working bloeddrukverhogend. Its anabolic effect on the circulation makes clove suitable use in peripheral circulation disorders, vascular spasms and intermittent claudication.
Lavanga breaks ama (metabolic slag and foreign substances). The herb is mondreinigend, stimulates the digestion and is antispasmodic.
