Description
The evening primrose (Oenothera biennis) is known for its beautiful yellow flowers and originates from North and South America. Evening primrose oil is a natural source of gamma linolenic acid (GLA). In principle, the body itself can produce GLA from (cis) linoleic acid. However, sometimes it can be useful to supplement this with a supplement. Factors that can lead to an increased need are a (too) high consumption of trans fatty acids, saturated fats, sugar, alcohol and carbohydrates. Evening primrose oil helps with discomfort before and during menstruation. Biotin and Vitamin B6 are also added to this product from Golden Naturals. Biotin is important for the skin and vitamin B6 is good for hormone balance.
